These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Spectra Fleets, including the Android app, iOS app, and web application. By creating an account, signing in, or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Spectra Fleets is a fleet management product that helps organizations manage vehicles, drivers, bookings, fuel, expenses, settlements, and related operational data. Features may change over time as we improve the product.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be authorized by your organization to use Spectra Fleets.
- Driver accounts are typically created by a fleet owner or administrator.
- You are responsible for keeping login credentials confidential and for activity under your account.
- Provide accurate information and update it when it changes.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
- Attempt to access data or accounts you are not authorized to use.
- Interfere with or disrupt the service, servers, or networks.
- Upload malware or content that infringes others’ rights.
- Misuse location, photos, or personal data of drivers or third parties.
4. Fleet owner responsibilities
If you are a fleet owner or administrator, you are responsible for managing users under your organization, obtaining any required consents from drivers or staff, and ensuring your use of Spectra Fleets complies with applicable employment, transport, and privacy laws.
5. Location and device permissions
Some features (such as live trip tracking or photo uploads) require device permissions. You can manage permissions in your device settings. Refusing permissions may limit related features.
6. Content and data
You retain rights to the business data you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that data solely to provide and improve Spectra Fleets. You confirm you have the right to submit the data you upload (including photos and documents).
7. Intellectual property
Spectra Fleets branding, software, and interface designs are owned by Spectra Global or its licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or redistribute the app except as allowed by law or with our written permission.
8. Third-party services
The service may rely on third parties such as hosting providers and push notification platforms. Their use is subject to their own terms where applicable.
9. Disclaimers
Spectra Fleets is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that operational data (including maps, odometer, or settlement figures) will always be complete or accurate. You remain responsible for verifying critical business and financial records.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spectra Global and Spectra Fleets will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the service.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated, if required for security or legal reasons, or if the service is discontinued. You may stop using the service at any time and may request account deletion as described in the Account Deletion Policy.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
